Visions, opportunities and challenges for the Bioeconomy in Southern Europe
Strategic seminar: 28 September 2016 (8:30 – 13:30), San Sebastián, Spain
2016 sees the EU updating its bioeconomy strategy, with a number of Member States already working on their own plans. Understanding the role of forests in a regional perspective is required if a comprehensive and inclusive strategy is to be developed that will be relevant across the continent.
A sustainable forest-based bioeconomy for Southern Europe presents particular opportunities and challenges. Be part of the discussion and contribute your vision this autumn (28 September) in San Sebastián, Basque Country, northern Spain.
The seminar, in Spanish, French and English, is organised by EFI in collaboration with USSE and EUSTAFOR, and supported by the Basque Government.
